TRAVEL & STAY
Traveling to Argentina
Argentina is a beautiful country with many regions worth exploring. If you have the time, we recommend spending a few days in Buenos Aires before heading to Mendoza to break up the trip and explore the beautiful city. Isaias spent 7 years of his life here, and it’s where his mom, dad, and brother Santi live today.
Isaias and Hannah will arrive in BA on April 23rd, and we’d love to show you around the city! We will plan some meet-ups and fun activities for the week.
We will share our favorite neighborhoods and Buenos Aires recommendations soon!
You must fly through Buenos Aires to get to the final destination, Mendoza. There are 2 major airports in BA.
international flights fly to Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE)
Most domestic travel goes through Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP)
Most flights from the United States to Buenos Aires are overnight, and the time difference is only 1 hour ahead of the EST time zone.
Traveling to Mendoza
Once in Buenos Aires, to get to mendoza we recommend flying through Aeroparque internacional jorge newbery (AEP) to El Plumerillo International Airport - Mendoza (MDZ). It is a ~1.5-2 hour domestic flight. Mendoza City is beautiful and has wonderful restaurants and wineries to explore. Our wedding weekend will take place outside of the city in the Uco Valley, the famous wine region known for its landscape of the Andes and famous Malbec wine. The Uco Valley is ~90 minutes from mendoza’s airport. Please arrive by Thursday, April 29.
